Selecting a grading scheme in your course settings ensures letter grades are reflected when submitting grades to Banner. Doing this at the beginning of each semester is the best practice, and the steps are provided below.
In your course, open the Settings tab from the Course Navigation menu (1).
Scroll down to the Grading Scheme field (2). Click the checkbox for Enable course grading scheme (3).
Open the options menu by clicking set grading scheme (4).
On the View/Edit Grading Scheme options, click Select Another Scheme (5).
All courses (except Nursing) use the Laredo College 2020 grading scheme. Select the Laredo College 2020 grading scheme (6), and click Use This Grading Scheme (7).
Click Done (8).
Save the change to your course settings by clicking Update Course Details (9). Repeat steps 1-9 for each course.
